Partnership Educators,
It is with great pleasure that I have the ability to deliver stories each week. The stories of our lives are intertwined with the story of our district. Moments of elation and extreme happiness can quickly be followed by moments of sorrow.
"Each day holds a surprise. But only if we expect it can we see, hear, or feel it when it comes to us. Let's not be afraid to receive each day's surprise, whether it comes to us as sorrow or as joy. It will open a new place in our hearts, a place where we can welcome new friends and celebrate more fully our shared humanity." Henri Nouwen
With a heavy heart, I am informing you about information that I just received today regarding the passing of Brenton Cross. Brenton has been a part of our family for many years working as a custodian at Cypress and currently at Turtle Bay. The Redding School District family extends our hearts and prayers to his family as they mourn the passing. The close ties we have with each other bind us together. We will miss him and remember him. An Irish proverb says, "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, loves leaves a memory no one can steal.
We will pass on information about any pending services once that information is made available.
See you next week,
Rob Adams
