The Shasta County Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) will hold a Public Hearing to adopt the 2024-25 Governance and Administration, 2024-25 SELPA Annual Budget Plan, and the 2024-25 SELPA Annual Service Plan E.C. 56205(b)(2) on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. in the Conference Room of the Shasta SELPA offices.

A letter of resignation was filed with the Shasta County Superintendent of Schools on July 24, 2023 to be effective July 24, 2023 creating a vacancy on the Redding Elementary School District Board. In accordance with Education Code Section 5091, the Redding Elementary School District Board on September 12, 2023, selected Megan Owens as the provisional appointee to fill the vacancy.
