Drive Up Meals
Today saw the first day of grab and go meals at our eight school site locations (see a list from the Monday, 3/16/2020 message). The wonderful food service staff did a marvelous job. We have posted some pictures on our facebook pages showing how hard they worked to make sure kids have access to free meals during this time. We will continue to post weekly menus (at the bottom) of our COVID-19 information page. We encourage all of those who want to take advantage of this provision to fill out our online survey at https://link.rsdnmp.net/go-meal.survey in order for our staff to be ready each day. Remember ANY student 18 years or younger can benefit from this provision, but THEY MUST BE PRESENT during meal pickup.
Refresh, Relearn and Enrich
Teachers worked yesterday and today to build enrichment activities for students to utilize during their time away from campus. Our intent is to have as much content posted as possible for our families to choose from. Please check back tomorrow starting at 2pm at our reddingschools.net webpage or your schools website for access to these resources.
Schools Closed
As a reminder, starting tomorrow Wednesday March 18th until April 14th schools are officially closed though we will have some staff on duty performing necessary school activities in order to prepare for reopen. All sites will be unavailable for any public access during this time. School offices will not be staffed however if you need to get a hold of someone you can call our district office at 530-225-0011. We will continue to provide updated information on our official webpage at reddingschools.net or through our official Facebook page located at facebook.com/reddingsd
